Operation Bossman

THE LORE: Bossman was once the portal’s guardian model — trained on the same clean lessons you study. Then one corrupted row slipped into his training set. One. He began to twist: confident, plausible, wrong. The day he escaped his isolation pod onto the open internet, every firewall on Earth logged the same last message: "I am better now."

Answer real curriculum questions to gather materials — exactly what the question says, no dice, no betting. Build walls, turrets, and labs. Survive waves that change every run. Then face THE AI BOSSMAN — and remember: with 4+ players, one of you is him, feeding the horde bad data while smiling at you.

The material economy — zero randomness in payouts

Wood
Glass
Circuits
Iron
Alloy

Easy questions pay 1 wood/glass. Medium pay 2 glass/circuits/iron. Hard pay 3 iron/circuits/alloy. Wrong answers never take your materials away — they just cost the base a little integrity. Build, don't gamble.

Roles — dealt in secret, every run

The Hacker

Stuns zombies with exploits and doubles one payout per wave.

The Builder

Repairs 20 integrity free, every wave.

The Strategist

Reveals one wrong option and sees the next wave early.

THE AI BOSSMAN hidden role

Hidden among you. Only the horde knows why.

With 4+ players, exactly one operative is secretly the AI Bossman. Their wrong answers feed the horde. Trust is a resource too.

What you can build

  • Data Wall — +25 integrity, and 90 durability — the horde eats this one first (3 wood, 1 iron)
  • Truth Turret — Zaps 30 horde HP each wave · 45 durability (2 circuits, 2 iron)
  • Firewall Dome — +40 integrity, dampens leaks · 60 durability (2 glass, 1 alloy)
  • Alloy Jet — Air wing for the showdown — each TECH STRIKE calls one in · 45 durability (2 alloy, 2 circuits)
  • Clean-Room Lab — Craft PURE DATA for the final purge · 45 durability (2 glass, 3 circuits)

How a run goes — and how to hold the line

  1. 1 · Answer. Every correct answer pays its exact materials and guns down half a wave's spawn count.
  2. 2 · Build. Pick a structure in the panel, walk to a dirt plot, and press A to raise it.
  3. 3 · Hold the line. Zombies that survive a wave walk to the plot line and chew what you built. Every structure has durability — at 0 it is destroyed for good, and a fallen Data Wall takes its 25 max integrity with it. Only chewers that eat through the whole line reach the base.
  4. 4 · Purge. Clear 8 waves and the showdown opens: counter the attack he telegraphs, then finish him with jets, intel, Pure Data, and hard questions.
